Day Spa Clients……. what to expect and what we expect……

Firstly we ask that you allow plenty of time for parking before your treatment. The entrance to a large car park is on the right hand side just before the salon. In the evenings, free on street parking can be available adjacent to our Day Spa.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment and upon arrival, please report to the ground floor reception to be checked in. For your comfort, towels, a robe and slippers will be provided, although for certain body treatments, you will be provided with disposable underwear. Please ensure you place all personal items in your private locker for the duration of your visit to our Spa.

We ask that all males bring their own boxers or shorts which must be worn during all treatments. In the relaxation room, you will be met by your therapist, who will guide you to your treatment room.

Please make your therapist aware of any medical conditions and complete a personal health care questionnaire. Failure to do so may be detrimental to your health. Your life is your responsibility!  The remainder of your time with us is yours to enjoy…..

Mobile phones must be switched off or put on silent to preserve the peaceful nature of our surroundings in the Spa. Please also then note our telephone number in case of emergency. 028 92 663102

Children under 10 are not permitted in the Spa or in any treatment rooms for Health and Safety reasons.


Out of courtesy, we require a minimum 48 hours notice of cancellation for all appointments to ensure no charges are made.  (This may be lost if you are unable to attend and do not give the required minimum 48 hours notice –  thank you for your understanding on this matter as we are sure you will appreciate we are a busy salon.)

*For bookings of 2 hours or more, £30 deposit is required to secure your appointment. *See above.

*If you have missed 2 or more appointments, a £30 deposit must be paid at time of booking each appointment. *See above.

*For group bookings of 2 or more people, a £30 deposit must be paid at time of booking each appointment. *See above.

Nibbles and light refreshments are served, but you are welcome to bring a bottle….

Please also note the spa can be booked for a private party.

Gift Vouchers are available for any amount or treatment and are valid for 4 months. An ideal gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas and Thank-You gifts. You can also telephone to give details of your requirements and we can post the voucher to you or the recipient after we take payment.
NB. Please ensure you book your appointment to redeem your voucher in good time to avoid disappointment, as the treatment rooms are very busy, especially at peek times i.e. evenings, Saturdays and holiday periods. Therefore, please be sure to plan dates well in advance. The more notice we have, the better!  Please quote your voucher number when making your appointment.

Tipping is at your discretion, although it appears to be normal practice at JK. I suppose the old chiche, if you are happy with your treatment, why not show it?

Health Conditions

It is vitally important that you inform us in advance of any allergies, injuries or health conditions which may affect your treatment when making your reservation. We will not be responsible for treating someone who has misinformed us of any health condition previously diagnosed or those awaiting diagnosis. You must inform us of any underlying conditions or test results that are pending.

After Care

Products used in our treatments here at Salon and Spa are available for purchase to enhance and continue the treatment at home.
